Did multicultural children with green eyes live during the Joseon Dynasty? "Children of Green Snow" is a story that was created in 1627 with the motif of "Jan Beltebray," the first European to settle in Joseon. In addition to Yanghee, the daughter of Jan Beltebray, another multicultural girl named Endangi, who was conceived in that the roots of Baekjeong during the Joseon Dynasty were descended from northern nomadic peoples, appeared. In "Children of Green Eyes", Jang Dol-gi, who ignores and discriminates against Choi Jong-dan's father by calling him a "northern goblin," and Yeom's grandmother also appears. However, children of their age don't discriminate against "different" ends and ends in a tournament, and they compete fairly with each other's abilities and sometimes admit defeat. In fact, according to the 'National Multicultural Acceptance Survey' conducted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family in 2021, the acceptance score of adolescents has increased for five years, but it has fallen for adults. Through "Children of Green Snow," writer Ji Hye-jin conveys the message that there is something special because they are different, and that there is a part that can be filled because they are different.
