Sisibel (Jieun)
After graduating from Fair College of Art, I studied illustration and design at Kent State University. He wrote and painted the "Socks Monkey" series, "ITBIT," "Rabbits and Robots," and "El Defoe." won the Newberry Honor Award and the Guyger Award for graphic novel El Defoe. After suffering from meningitis when I was young, I started wearing hearing aids because I couldn't hear well. Currently, I live in Virginia, USA, writing and painting with my husband Tom Anglberger.

Born and raised in Seoul, I work as a Korean language teacher at the Seoul Foreign School. I am a late mother who sometimes has a painting competition with her son who wants to become a car racer. The "Peekyak and Smart" series is a widely known book among foreign students. Even if we put it into our language, we translated it happily, trying to make the fun of the taste of words live.

Ppiyak emphasizes that you should always say polite things to your friends. Instead of saying, "Smell my feet!" let's say, "Can you smell my feet?" However, Smart Girls misunderstand Pippi Longstocking and keep saying things wrong. Isn't smart as smart as its name?
At that time, a spotted crab appeared and smelled Pippi Longstocking's feet and was very interested. Spotted invites Pippi to the house, but actually, he wants to eat it. Ppiyak didn't notice, but thanks to Smarty's sudden visit, he is out of danger. If you find out, is a smart person really smart?
Through the words exchanged between Ppiyak and Smart, they learn polite words in a fun way, and the friendship that builds up between friends gives them a sense of satisfaction and emotion.

a horse-riding book suitable for role-playing and reading
This book features Pippi Longstocking, Smart Girls, and Spotted Skirts. Watching three simple characters exchange words with each other and harmonize with tiki-taka makes me laugh.
Ppiyak is a small chick, but he is a smart, polite friend. Smarties have a quirky and awkward charm, but they always give them to friends. The spotted fish tries to eat the peep by making a shallow number, but due to the smart's wit, it does not achieve its goal.
It would be a very interesting role play if parents, children, or two or three friends decide their roles and read this book.
